Gaming operator Bally’s Corporation has recorded a significant 5.8% year-on-year revenue increase for the second quarter of this year. The company’s total revenue for the three months ending June 30 was $657.5 million, up from $621.7 million in the same period last year.
The Casinos and Resorts Division brought in $393.3 million in revenue, while North America Interactive revenue climbed 21.5% to $56.5 million, and UK online revenue rose 8.8%. International Interactive figures fell overall due to last year’s divestiture of Bally’s Asia business, though underlying markets excluding that sale produced a 10% gain.
Bally's has also highlighted ongoing expansion plans, including a Chicago resort development and a proposed $4 billion Bronx casino.
Bally’s has also announced a landmark €2.7 billion deal with Greek gaming group Intralot. The deal will see Bally’s become its majority shareholder and strengthen its technology presence in global lottery and digital markets.
Mayor steps in to keep Bronx bid alive
Bally’s casino plans in the Bronx are still active, after New York City Mayor Eric Adams vetoed a City Council vote blocking a key zoning change.
The proposed development on a former Trump Organization golf course site would include a casino, a 500-room hotel, restaurants, meeting spaces, and public amenities. If Bally’s secures one of the three New York casino licenses likely to be awarded later this year, the deal would bring a $115 million payment to the Trump Organization.
Adams stressed his decision was not an endorsement of the project, but local councilwoman Kristy Marmorato has opposed it, calling it ‘predatory’, although other Bronx leaders have voiced support. The Council now has ten days to decide whether to override the veto.
Bally’s has argued that the Bronx site could deliver the largest private investment in the borough’s history, creating jobs and boosting the local economy. However, competition for the licenses is fierce, with proposals across Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, and existing racetrack venues.
Nottingham Forest partnership boosts
In a separate move underlining its international ambitions, Bally’s has become the front-of-shirt sponsor for English Premier League club Nottingham Forest for the 2025/26 season. The deal will showcase the Bally’s brand on player kits and around The City Ground stadium, with added exposure through the team’s first European campaign in three decades.
The sponsorship follows Bally’s acquisitions in the UK, including Aspers Casino in Newcastle, and builds on its portfolio of online brands such as Virgin Games and Jackpotjoy.
The Nottingham Forest deal, the Bronx casino push, and the Intralot transaction all appear to form part of Bally’s broader effort to expand its footprint across key markets while balancing its brick-and-mortar operations with digital growth.
