The Thursday MLB slate features just nine games, but my best home run predictions today continue to identify four potential power hitters who represent value to four-bagger bettors.

My MLB picks feature Julio Rodriguez and Fernando Tatis Jr., both of whom have favorable pitching matchups tonight. My best home run bets today also take fliers on Jose Altuve and Juan Soto as potential profitable picks.

A $10 parlay featuring all four stars will pay out nearly $12,100 in profits if they each manage to poke one out!

💣 Best home run prediction today: MLB expert picks & prop bets

Here are my favorite MLB home run bets today and analysis of why they lead my MLB home run predictions.

⚾ Fernando Tatis Jr. (Padres) to hit a home run (+380) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Tatis has been hot with a bat in his hands as of late, cashing this prop at a 30% clip over his last 10 contests. He's already taken Colorado Rockies starter McCade Brown deep once in his career, so I'm betting he can make it back-to-back games with a dinger tonight against a division foe.

The 26-year-old has been significantly better at the plate in the friendly confines of Petco Park this season. His home splits are significantly better than on the road, with his OPS ticking up to .863 from .742 when playing in San Diego. Tatis has also hit 66% of his homers this season at home.

A $10 flier on Tatis would pay out $38 if the star outfielder goes yard in consecutive games with the best MLB betting sites.

📊 Rockies vs. Padres odds

⚾ Julio Rodriguez (Mariners) to hit a home run (+560) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Seattle is in scorching form down the stretch, and it has its superstars - such as Rodriguez - to thank. The 24-year-old has tallied three multi-hit games in his last five outings to complement his four home runs over a 10-game stretch.

Rodriguez has excellent career numbers against Los Angeles starter Jose Soriano, slashing .500/.571/1.000. In total, the Mariners' outfielder has six hits in 12 at-bats against the righty, including two home runs. The Angels' arm gave up eight earned runs in his last outing against the A's, so I fear Seattle will shell him, and Rodriguez will likely contribute to that.

A $10 wager on Rodriguez to go yard returns $56 at FanDuel, with the odds implying a 15.15% chance he stuffs his stat sheet with No. 31 on the season.
