My Red Sox vs Angels best bet: Trevor Story Over 1.5 total bases (+150 via bet365)

Overall it's been a season filled with frustration for Trevor Story, who sits fifth leaguewide with 94 strikeouts. However, we've seen signs that May could be looked back on as his rockiest bottom this campaign, as there's been a gradual rebound throughout June.

He slashed a disastrous .158/.200./.232 in May, leading to a .432 OPS. Over three weeks in June, he's posted a .278/.316/.458 slash line with a .774 OPS. The strikeouts remain ever-present, but he's making more quality contact. There's no lack of power when he does with a hard-hit rate that sits at a respectable 46.2%, his highest since 2018, according to Baseball Savant.

Now Story, who's one game removed from a three-hit night, gets to tee off on the Angels' Jack Kochanowicz. He's tied for eighth in MLB with 15 homers allowed, which is an undesired outcome bound to happen often when your average exit velocity given up (92.5 mph) rests in the bottom 2% leaguewide.
