Rafael Devers has been enjoying his time by the bay so far, with three hits across as many games, including a laser-beam RBI double to start off his tenure. He'll now face his former team, in which he left in tumultuous fashion, and our Red Sox vs Giants predictions believe he'll strike a revenge blow.

The Giants enter as the -130 favorite through the best MLB odds, with first pitch slated for 10:15 p.m. ET from Oracle Park.

My Red Sox vs Giants best bet: Rafael Devers Over 1.5 total bases (+110 via DraftKings)

Red Sox starter Hunter Dobbins is off to an impressive start to his rookie season, one that includes two recent quality outings against the New York Yankees and their intimidating third-ranked offense.

However, Dobbins still remains untested to a large degree while entering just his 10th career start tonight, and only three of the previous outings have featured him making it through the sixth inning. His reliance on contact could catch up to him eventually, as he's posted a mediocre 6.8 K/9.

We're seeing in the underlying metrics that Devers can take advantage tonight, as the expected slugging percentage allowed on Dobbins' fastball—a pitch he throws nearly 40% of the time—is .497.

Meanwhile, Devers hunts heat and is slugging .584 against four-seam fastballs, according to Baseball Savant. And of course, he's on the prowl for righties too, with the left-handed slugger hitting 10 of his 15 home runs against them with a .908 OPS.
