49ers vs. Buccaneers Player Props Today: Egbuka Supernova Incoming in Week 6?

Last Updated: October 12, 2025 2:04 PM EDT • 4 minute read X Social Google News Link

My best 49ers vs. Buccaneers player props expect San Francisco to come back down to earth after an upset win at the LA Rams, even though Tampa will also be dealing with injuries to its offense.
Kickoff from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla., is set for 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS) today. Our NFL picks lean into Emeka Egbuka as the last man standing for the Bucs, while highlighting some tough sledding for Christian McCaffrey.
I close out my NFL predictions for Week 6 by targeting the Niners' backup TE on a +280 anytime TD scorer prop, exploiting the weak spot in the Buccaneers defense.

💰 Best 49ers vs. Buccaneers player prop picks
Our NFL player prop odds tool shows the best odds for every market across legal sportsbooks in your area.
⬆️ Emeka Egbuka Over 72.5 receiving yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Egbuka has continued to defy expectations with each game of his standout rookie season. But without Mike Evans, Chris Godwin or Bucky Irving available to assist Baker Mayfield today, Egbuka is the last man standing.
Egbuka has increased his robust production in each of the past three games, logging 85, 101 and 163 receiving yards across those respective contests. I would aggressively target his receiving yards prop deep into the 80s against a San Francisco defense allowing a moderate 207.6 passing yards per game.
FanDuel offers the best odds on this prop at -114 odds on Over 72.5 yards. The implied probability at those odds is 53.27%. A winning $10 wager on this prop would profit $8.77.
If you're looking to stack Emeka Egbuka with Baker Mayfield, our senior analyst Dustin Saracini is all over the quarterback to go over his passing number in his best player props for Week 6.
⬇️ Christian McCaffrey Under 56.5 rushing yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
McCaffrey is once again expected to serve as the focal point of the San Francisco offense, but I’m expecting the unit led by Mac Jones (who is officially Questionable) to come back down to earth after Kyle Shanahan’s masterful gameplan got the group over the hump against the Rams last week.
Tampa Bay boasts the eighth-ranked run defense in the NFL, allowing just 92.4 yards per game on the ground. Saquon Barkley, Breece Hall, Nick Chubb and Bijan Robinson have all been held below this 56.5-yard rushing line by the Buccaneers defense, and McCaffrey has done most of his damage though the air, anyway.
On the ground, CMC has racked up more than 57 rushing yards just once in five games. DraftKings offers the best line on this prop for Under bettors, with -115 odds on Under 56.5 rushing yards. The implied probability at those odds is 53.49%. A winning $10 wager on this prop would profit $8.70.
🔥 Jake Tonges anytime TD scorer (+280) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
With George Kittle still on injured reserve, this matchup against the Buccaneers could be another productive one for Jake Tonges - particularly as Mac Jones progresses the offense toward the goal line.
Tonges has three touchdowns on the season and could match up well against Tampa Bay, which has surrendered four receiving touchdowns to tight ends across five games this season, tied for the second-most in the NFL.
Tonges caught a touchdown from Jones in Week 5 as part of a solid connection displayed between the duo (7/41/1). The best odds on this prop come from bet365 at +280, equating to an implied probability of 26.32%. A winning $10 wager on this prop would profit $28.00.
