This weekend's slate is expected to be mostly unaffected by the weather, but we're keeping an eye on a couple of matchups in the 1 p.m. ET window that have a high chance of light rain.

Rainy conditions could affect how offenses perform in those contests, impacting your betting and fantasy football NFL picks.

🚨 Projected worst NFL weather games: Week 1

Giants vs. Commanders: High chance of rain.
Raiders vs. Patriots: Cloudy with expected light showers.
Steelers vs. Jets: Cloudy with a high chance of light rain.

⛅ Bengals vs. Browns weather report

  • Date: Sunday, Sept. 7 @ 1 p.m. ET
  • Location: Huntington Bank Field (Cleveland)
  • Forecast: 64°F, mostly sunny
  • Wind: 15 MPH WNW

Betting impact: It should be a sunny afternoon today for the Battle of Ohio. We will likely get to see the Bengals and Browns unencumbered by the elements, making this a strong fantasy spot for offensive stars like Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, and Jerry Jeudy.

☁️ Raiders vs. Patriots weather report

  • Date: Sunday, Sept. 7 @ 1 p.m. ET
  • Location: Gillette Stadium (Foxborough, Mass.)
  • Forecast: 63°F, cloudy with chance of light showers
  • Wind: 6 MPH N

Betting impact: It's going to be a cloudy day in Foxborough as Geno Smith takes on Drake Maye in Week 1. Light rain could be a factor as both teams' new-look offenses try to get off to a strong start.

🌦️ Steelers vs. Jets weather report

  • Date: Sunday, Sept. 7 @ 1 p.m. ET
  • Location: MetLife Stadium (East Rutherford, N.J.)
  • Forecast: 69°F, cloudy with a high chance of light rain
  • Wind: 7 MPH NNW

Betting impact: We're expecting a cloudy (and maybe rainy) Sunday in New Jersey as Aaron Rodgers looks for revenge against the Jets. Any precipitation could further hurt the offenses, and this matchup already has by far the lowest total of the remaining games this weekend at 37.5.

🌧️ Giants vs. Commanders weather report

  • Date: Sunday, Sept. 7 @ 1 p.m. ET
  • Location: Northwest Stadium (Landover, Md.)
  • Forecast: 69°F, high chance of rain
  • Wind: 6 MPH NNW

Betting impact: We're projecting a rainy afternoon in Landover for this matchup. That means Jayden Daniels and Russell Wilson - who rank fourth and 22nd, respectively, in Gary Pearson's NFL clutch ratings - should have to battle some less than ideal conditions to attack downfield in Week 1.

⛅ Panthers vs. Jaguars weather report

  • Date: Sunday, Sept. 7 @ 1 p.m. ET
  • Location: EverBank Stadium (Jacksonville, Fla.)
  • Forecast: 86°F, partly sunny
  • Wind: 7 MPH NE

Betting impact: It's not expected to be as hot in Florida as they were projecting earlier in the week (previously 91 degrees), and there's also supposed to be some cloud cover. Both defenses should be thankful for that change in forecast as they look to ramp up their conditioning in the early part of the season.

⛅ Titans vs. Broncos weather report

  • Date: Sunday, Sept. 7 @ 4:05 p.m. ET
  • Location: Empower Field at Mile High (Denver)
  • Forecast: 82°F, partly cloudy
  • Wind: 7 MPH NNW

Betting impact: Weather shouldn't be much of a factor for this AFC matchup, which will feature No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward taking on one of the league's best defenses.

☁️ 49ers vs. Seahawks weather report

  • Date: Sunday, Sept. 7 @ 4:05 p.m. ET
  • Location: Lumen Field (Seattle)
  • Forecast: 67°F, cloudy
  • Wind: 7 MPH S

Betting impact: It's projected to be cloudy with a small chance of rain in Seattle on Sunday afternoon. The total for this matchup dropped from 45.5 points to 43.5 at the best sports betting sites, but that probably has more to do with a lack of faith in these offenses rather than any weather factor.

⛅ Lions vs. Packers weather report

  • Date: Sunday, Sept. 7 @ 4:25 p.m. ET
  • Location: Lambeau Field (Green Bay, Wis.)
  • Forecast: 60°F, partly cloudy
  • Wind: 8 MPH NW

Betting impact: It's looking to be a somewhat chilly September afternoon for Micah Parsons' Packers debut. Despite Green Bay's addition of the All-Pro pass-rusher, this profiles as an offensive shootout with the total set at 47.5 - one of the highest of the Week 1 slate.

⛅ Ravens vs. Bills weather report

  • Date: Sunday, Sept. 7 @ 8:20 p.m. ET
  • Location: Highmark Stadium (Orchard Park, N.Y.)
  • Forecast: 58°F, clear
  • Wind: 8 MPH SW

Betting impact: It appears it'll be a cool but clear night for Sunday Night Football in upstate New York. Nothing should get in the way of a barn-burner between teams led by Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson, who have won the last two NFL MVP awards. This matchup has the highest total of the weekend, currently lined at 50.5 at the best sports betting apps, and profiles as a must-start spot for any Bills or Ravens on your fantasy rosters.

⛅ Vikings vs. Bears weather report

  • Date: Monday, Sept. 8 @ 8:15 p.m. ET
  • Location: Soldier Field (Chicago)
  • Forecast: 62°F, clear
  • Wind: 8 MPH SSE

Betting impact: It's projected to be clear in Chicago for the first Monday Night Football game of the year. It's ideal conditions for second-year quarterbacks Caleb Williams and J.J. McCarthy - though the defensive matchups should prove challenging enough for the young passers, even without inclement weather. The total for this matchup is set at either 43.5 or 44 across the market.
